As a new mom, my expectations were for her to hit every milestone. I had notifications set every first Thursday of each month for all 30 milestone apps on my phone. Ensuring my daughter was meeting or atleast exhibiting aspects of those milestones. I can say I was slightly obsessive, but I excused it away as being an caring/loving mother. But after awhile, I came to understand that I needed to calm down and work on her schedule.
